Lake Tahoe

My family and I went to Tahoe to visit some friends of ours and i was so excited to use my camera again.

And then we had another family join us for the fun.

55 miles

I walked 55 miles. With 13 people.
And we smelled and we didn't shower and we had limited food and heavy packs, but the people I met, and the experience i had made up for it all.

We hiked from the bay to the sea in 9 days. All of the girls on this trip grew really close, and I have never met anyone like them. We went rock climbing and we carried packs with 50 pounds of stuff in them, and the feeling when we rounded the corner and sasw the sea was a feeling I will never forget. Once we got to the beach we all ran into the ocean and jumped in. I had the time of my life.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

We went to the Aquarium today. Since it was early in the morning everything was still pretty empty and it was great for pictures. The one below this text would have been impossible later on. I had loads of fun, and this aquarium is definitely the best.

Santa Cruz

My mom, my sister and I went on a early morning beach trip yesterday. Usually we go to the beach and spend the whole day there in the hot sun. But today we just dropped by, took a cool walk down the beach and went back home. It made me really happy to do that and i'm glad the beach is so close by.
The waves were huge, and we also watched some surfers later on. I had forgotten my camera, and had to use my phone instead (never thought i'd say that).

With great skill (hah ya jk) i took this picture. I cropped it below so it's easier to see. I got the surfer right as he was doing one of those spin wave thingies. I don't know what that's called. 

It's a little grainy because I cropped it so much. Sorry. 

100 stars

I began folding stars several years ago, but it wasn't until 2 days ago where I found the little kit again. I sat down and folded some more stars out of boredom. Today i figured out that they are so much fun to take pictures of. There are so many possible ideas and motives. Here are some of my favorites .

Santana Row and Tie Dye

For my parents anniversary we ate dinner in a Greek Restaurant in Santana Row. 

This is my first picture with manual focus. I like it :D

Tie dye banners are hard work but turn out great. This one is the one i made for my grandma.
